2014 Election Preview

Fewer than 50 House races in a field of 435 are expected to be at all competitive in 2014, one of the narrowest landscapes in recent memory, and Republicans have a secure hold on their control of the chamber. There is more room for movement in the Senate, where Republicans are expected to make gains but will likely fall short of retaking the majority.
